We are beginning to receive notes from Children's Rosary groups holding early birthday celebrations for Our Blessed Mother. Yesterday, I received these pictures from the Children's Rosary at St. Agnes Church in Naples, Florida USA. They meet each month on the first Saturday to hold their Children's Rosary. Yesterday the children presented Our Blessed Mother with flowers and handmade birthday cards in anticipation of the Nativity of Our Blessed Mother which will be celebrated on September 8th.
The group at St. Agnes held a little birthday party outside the chapel after the Rosary. The children enjoyed the festivities with special sweets that were brought for the party.
It is beautiful to contemplate Our Blessed Mother's response to so many children remembering her birthday. As the children kneel in prayer of the Rosary ending each decade with a flower which is put at her feet, might a gentle loving smile come across her face. It warms the heart to think of Our Blessed Mother so happy. If these little ones praying touch our hearts what must their Heavenly Mother think when she sees them all coming to pray with her?
Indeed Our Lord must also take special joy in seeing his Mother remembered.
A special thank you to all the members of the Children's Rosary that give so much of themselves to help our children have such a tender relationship with Our Blessed Mother and her Son.

The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
