Endorsement of the Children's Rosary by Bishop John Keenan of Scotland

During our visit to Scotland this summer Bishop John Keenan of Paisley, Scotland was able to share some lovely words of support for the Children's Rosary prayer group movement. Please see the new video HERE and also below:

Bishop Keenan shared in the video how it has been hard to re-engage families in the Church since the pandemic but when on to share "Children's Rosary is proving to the most effective way of finding a space for families to belong to the Church and finding a space for children to belong to the Church."

Bishop Paul Ssemogerere Endorses the Book: Child Consecration

We are very grateful to Bishop Paul Ssemogerere of the Kasana - Luweero Diocese of Uganda for his kind support of the new book: Child Consecration: To Jesus through Mary—Following in the Spirit of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower. His words of support are included here:

"As human beings, we are all called to live a life of holiness- a life easily attained and lived through the motherly guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a life which is fruitfully nurtured at our early stage of life as children. This book, presents to children the true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary which leads to a deeper and more perfect devotion to Jesus who calls all to a life of holiness. I commend this book to all who nurture the tender souls of children- the future of the Church, for through it they will be able to introduce many to the Mother of God who opens great realities of the faith to the simple hearted especially children and also searches for them when lost." -Bishop Paul Ssemogerere

To learn more about this Consecration book visit the website: https://childconsecration.com

Books can be purchased or one can complete this 33 Day Consecration journey online. This Consecration Journey is written in the Spirit of St. Thérèse. It is characterized by simplicity, confidence and trust. While the book is written in a simple style, it is in no way simplistic. This book can be used by children but is also ideal for adults including priests.

A Surprise on the Feast of St. Nicholas!

St. Nicholas pictured at a Children's Rosary

Today the Children's Rosary received a surprise gift.  We received an endorsement letter from Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista of the Diocese of Imus in the Philippines.

We are very grateful for his support and blessing of the Children's Rosary.  Over the past year we have seen the Children's Rosary spreading in a beautiful way throughout the Philippines.  Groups now exist in Bohol, Cebu and Tacloban City.  There are efforts to begin new groups in the City of Imus, Cavite and Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The text of the letter reads:
ENDORSEMENT
It is with joy that I officially endorse the Children's Rosary Prayer Group Movement to parishes and Catholic Christian communities in the Diocese of Imus.

Established on April 10th, 2011 at West Hartford Connecticut USA, this Catholic lay movement is faithful to magisterial teachings and promotes the devotion and consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Keeping in mind the universal Christian calling to holiness, this movement assists parishes and communities by initiating rosary prayer groups for children ages 4 to 14 years old.

As this movement immerses in the spiritual enrichment of children and the youth in the Diocese of Imus without prejudice to diocesan formation programs, it will work in close collaboration with the vicars forane, parish priests and the Apostolado sa Larangan ng Pagkilala sa Diyos.

May Mary, our Blessed Mother, lead us to a life of holiness and service.

Given on the 26th of November 2015 at the Chancery Office, Imus City, Cavite.

Sincerely in Christ
Reynaldo G. Evangelista, DD
Bishop of Imus
