Children's Rosary in Brandon, Canada Leads Stations of the Cross

We received a lovely note this evening that the Children's Rosary at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in Brandon, Canada. Brandon is in the Diocese of Winnipeg. The Children's Rosary led the Stations of the Cross at the parish this evening. They were joined by Fr. John Okosun shown in the picture above. This group recently had Children's Rosary sweatshirts and T-shirts made.

A Mass Was Offered on February 25, 2025 for All the Members of the Children's Rosary

A Mass was offered on February 25, 2025, for all the members of the Children's Rosary and all who help the Children's Rosary. We continue to have a Mass said for this intention on the twenty-fifth of each month. The Eucharist is such a powerful gift from Our Lord that when we wanted to extend thanksgiving to all of you, we knew of no better way to express gratitude. May Our Lord's love be poured down on all of you through the powerful sacrifice of the Holy Mass. 

A new Children's Rosary has formed at École Sainte-Marie, Mère de Dieu, a small private French-speaking Catholic school in Canada. The school is on the property of the Church shown above. 

Children's Rosary Informational Meeting for Canada

We are excited to announce we have a Children's Rosary informational meeting scheduled via Zoom for Canada at 8:00 pm Eastern time March 16, 2023. We hope any existing Children's Rosary group leaders from Canada can attend and anyone interested in finding out more about the Children's Rosary prayer group movement. Patiently Waiting in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada

This is eight year old Zosia, who sent us a picture of her "Patiently Waiting" sign at her home. We hope more people will consider participating in the Children's Rosary Patiently Waiting Campaign. This is a gentle way to let people know where our hearts can be found as we prepare ourselves for the coming of Christmas. On Christmas Eve take down your Patiently Waiting sign and put up a sign that says "Christ is Born".

Children's Rosary Collection Available to Order in Canada

We are excited to announce that Sunrise Marian Distribution is carrying our Children's Rosary collection. This includes our Children's Rosary book in English and French. New Children's Rosary forms in Ontario, Canada!

Happy Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary! We are excited to share that a new Children's Rosary has formed at St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. They held their first meeting on Saturday October 5th. This new group has chosen to hold their meetings monthly on the first Saturday of the month. Their Parish priest Fr. Peter Jurzyk can be seen in the upper picture. He attended the meeting and prayed with the children. Four nuns from the order of Sisters Poor of Jesus Christ also attended the meeting and knelt in prayer. 

The new group leader wrote that a little boy named Michael led the prayers for the first meeting. His Mother knelt beside him to coach him when needed. The model of the Children's Rosary meetings is a Rosary led by the children. Some children want to lead at the first meeting others take a little time until they feel ready to lead. But over time usually all the children become so comfortable with the prayers that they want to lead. This helps to foster leadership in prayer which is so important. Some of these children may help to bring prayer into their families something that is so needed today.

We are grateful to the Knights of Columbus Council in Hamilton, Ontario who have generously offered to sponsor the flowers, rosaries and prayer books for the children to use at each meeting. One of the unique things about the Children's Rosary prayer groups is the use of flowers. This component is optional but is loved by the children. At the end of each decade a child is asked to place a rose at the foot of Our Lady as the group leader asks for the fruit of that mystery. The Knights of Columbus not only have chosen to sponsor the flowers, prayer books and rosaries for the Children's Rosary group meetings but members of the Knights of Columbus Council in Hamilton, Ontario have chosen to support the children by attending the monthly meeting and praying along with them. 

It is wonderful to see all the support that has been given for this new Children's Rosary group. The goal of the Children's Rosary is to support the prayer lives of children. Each child has a vocation to holiness and the Children's Rosary encourages the seeds of faith to set down deep roots.

In a special way we ask Our Lady of the Rosary to pray for our children and our families that we may all progress along the path of holiness.

Children's Rosary in Morden, Canada Turns 1

On December 12th, 2018 the Children's Rosary at St. John the Evangelist in Morden, Canada turned one. Morden is in the Province of Manitoba, Canada. 

After praying the Rosary, the children celebrated the anniversary with a cake. 

We like to feature not only the formation of new groups but those that continue to meet faithfully in prayer.
