Dear Friends,
Tonight we meet Our Lord in the Eucharist, tomorrow we walk with Him to Calvary. Two days full of love and sacrifice.
On this eve of His Passion there is a hope that we might be some consolation to Our Lord. A tiny relief if only for a moment from the torment that awaits Him. On these Holy Days a great amount of grace awaits. May we make good use of the time to ask for it. We know from Scripture Our Lord spoke the words “I thirst” which many interpret as speaking of His desire to draw souls to Him. Might we help Him in that moment of thirst, might we be those hands to help bring Him souls. As tomorrow is also the beginning of the Divine Mercy Novena may I humbly ask you all to consider adding an intention to your Novena. It is an intention we have prayed many times within the Children’s Rosary. It is our hope and prayer that indeed Our Lord would allow us the grace to help Him in quenching that thirst He has for souls. Normally we include this intention in an Anniversary Novena leading up to the Anniversary of the Children’s Rosary on April 10th. As the Novena of Divine Mercy, fell so close to our Anniversary there was a feeling that we should focus on this powerful source of grace and mercy through the Divine Mercy Novena and humbly ask that our Children’s Rosary intention be included in your prayer intentions for that novena. Indeed it is a very special opportunity to ask Our Lord to use us for the good. With so many praying for an intention that must be a joy for Our Lord to receive, there is an excitement of all that awaits us.
Intention:
May the Children’s Rosary, their families, those associated with the Children’s Rosary including our Priests, our Bishops, and our Holy Father the Pope be the extended hands of Our Blessed Mother and her Son. May we gather a great many souls especially young people for the Lord. May we experience renewal of family prayer and spread it across the globe. May a great many people be brought to our Children’s Rosary that we may blanket the earth with people wanting to be the extended hands of Mary and Jesus. Amen.
Thank you all for your generosity of love. May we all rejoice in the gift of each other.
Happy News: beginning Sunday April 5th we have enough sponsors to have 2 Masses said daily for 9 days in fulfillment of Our Lady’s plans for the Children’s Rosary and 2 Masses said for the following 9 days in thanksgiving. We also have an additional Mass being offered on Easter and Easter Monday. Thus for those two days we will have three Masses said each day. It is not too late to contribute to our Anniversary Novena of Masses.
As today is also the Anniversary of the death of St. John Paul II in a special way we ask for for his blessing and his intercession that we may guided in holiness all according to the Will of God all for the Glory of God. Amen.
