CMN Conference in Chicago

Fr. Michael Gaitley MIC
and one of the members of the Children's Rosary
Yesterday we returned from the Catholic Marketing Network Conference in Chicago.  Due to a delay in our flight Saturday evening we didn't make it home until around 1AM Sunday morning.  Despite feeling tired we were extremely joyful after a week of wonderful blessings.  The CMN is a unique annual event that brings Catholic bookstore owners, publishers and many other ministries and apostolates together.  Throughout the whole week there was daily Adoration, Confession with Fr. Apostoli and daily Mass.  The children and I took the opportunity to find time to draw away from the crowds and have quiet time to pray in a special way for you all who are part of the Children's Rosary and help the Children's Rosary.

The Children's Rosary was able to have a booth at the Conference and we were also able to do a presentation at the Educational Day for the bookstores.  There are so many wonderful individuals who have sacrificed so much to run a Catholic Bookstore.  Throughout the week the children and I were humbly asking their help to spread word of the Children's Rosary in their regions.  We also asked them to help connect families and individuals through their bookstore who might be interested in forming a Children's Rosary prayer group.  Many bookstore owners stopped by and seemed very excited to help promote this prayer group movement and help make our Children's Rosary materials available locally to folks who would like them.  We had bookstore owners present from as far away as Singapore, Malaysia, and Canada while there were many from States across the US.  For those of you considering beginning a group or those with an existing bookstore.  Look for your local Catholic Bookstore and ask for their help promoting your group.  Most would be happy to post a notice in their bookshop of when and where you meet.

As you can see from the photo above the children also had an opportunity to see some of the people they have been praying for.  The Marian fathers have asked the children to not only pray for their seminarians but also the priests of their order.   We felt humbled by their request and have continued to pray for them.
