The Children's Rosary in Lisdoonvarna Co Clare, Ireland shared pictures of the flowers they prepared to give to Our Blessed Mother for their May Children's Rosary meeting. It has been a tradition that at the end of each decade of the Rosary children place flowers before a statue of Our Blessed Mother while asking for the fruit of the mystery. As May is the month dedicated to Our Blessed Mother, it seems hearts are even more drawn to making each gift extra special. One can see the great care that went into preparing these flowers with ribbon. Lourda and her daughter also made special gingerbread cookies as a treat for the children at the end of the Children's Rosary.
The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
