Feast of the Annunciation: March 25th 2020

The Children's Rosary has a little gift for all the members.  A Mass was offered for all the members of the Children's Rosary today.  This is something we do on the 25th of every month.

We also wanted to feature one of the drawings we received as a gift during our trip to East Africa this past summer. The picture shown was given to us by Ggay Simon, age 10, who is a student at Uganda Martyrs School in Uganda.

As today is March 25th we are exactly 9 months from Christmas!  A few years ago a member of the Children's Rosary shared with us a 9 month novena that begins on the Annunciation and ends on Christmas. It is called the Nine Month Novena for Impossible Requests. We included it on the Children's Rosary website a few years ago.  We are including the prayers again. Maybe you would like to bring some special intentions to prayer leading up to Christmas.

This is a daily novena to be said for nine months, beginning with the Annunciation (March 25) and ending on Christmas Eve.

You may pray for up to three intentions. ------------------------------------------------

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us,
And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

O Virgin of the Incarnation, a thousand times we praise thee, a thousand times we greet thee, for the joy thou didst know when the Son of God took flesh in thy womb.
Because thou art powerful, O Virgin Mother of God, grant what we beseech thee, for the love of God.

(Here name your three intentions).

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary,
That never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
Implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
But in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world and in the hearts of all men, even until the end of time. Amen.
