Joyfully Waiting

First Meeting of the Children's Rosary at St. Bernard's Parish in
Mount Lebanon Pennsylvania on Dec 1st 2013
On December 1st, the first Sunday of Advent, a little Children's Rosary met for the first time in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania USA.  Twelve children knelt before Our Lady in prayer of the Rosary.  With a little help, the children led the Rosary and their parents followed along.  Looking at this picture and seeing Our Lady on the altar the Advent candles beneath and the children kneeling one feels like they are peering into another world. One filled with joy and anticipation.  A sweet place of joyful waiting for Our Lord's coming on Christmas Eve.  The chaos of the Christmas rush seems to melt away and the spirit of Advent can be savored.

Please join us in prayer tomorrow as three Children's Rosary groups will be meeting.  The children always pray for those unifying prayers with them.
The Children's Rosary at St. Mary Church in Orange, Texas will meet at 7:05AM
The Children's Rosary at St. Charles Borromeo School in Destrehan, Louisiana will meet at 9:45 AM
The Children's Rosary at St. Paul's Church in Fenton Missouri will meet at 7PM.
