Today is Christmas in Russia

Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate Christmas today.  I am aware that many individuals in such countries as Russia, Greece, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Ethiopia and the Ukraine celebrate Christmas today. 

 In the Christian Orthodox tradition they use the Gregorian calendar with Christmas celebrated on January 7th.  While Catholics use the Julian Calendar celebrating Christmas December 25th.
