New Children's Rosary at St. Patrick's Church

There is a new Children's Rosary forming at St. Patrick's Church in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania USA.  They have chosen to hold their meetings in front of the Blessed Sacrament on the third Monday of the Month at 5:45 PM ET.  Their first meeting will be October 20th 2014.

This new Children's Rosary group forms very close to another group we have at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Avondale, PA. Indeed it was this first group in Avondale that helped to inspire the forming of a second group at St. Patrick's Church.  It is beautiful to see how as one seed is planted in a Church it grows and the effects of the prayer ripple out to neighboring churches and communities.  There is a feeling that as the Love of the Lord grows in the hearts of souls and in a special way children it cannot be contained but rather spills out and brings beautiful fruits in those it meets.

Through this month of October we have seen a number of new Children's Rosary groups form.  At the first meeting, each group is Consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.  In that way each group is under the protection and guidance of Christ and His Mother.

For those interested in forming a Children's Rosary group in their parish see our page on how to begin a group.

Members of the Children's Rosary that recorded the song:
"Rosary Children"
The Children's Rosary new theme song "Rosary Children" was featured today on the show: Songs of the Spirit.  The show airs the second Tuesday of the Month at 9:30 AM ET on Holy Spirit Radio. The station broadcasts both in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area as well as in the Chester County of Pennsylvania USA.  We are very honored to have the Children's Rosary theme song featured on the program today.  We are also very grateful to Kathy Gasson, host of Songs of the Spirit, for her help spreading the Children's Rosary.

Broadcasts are archived and can be heard on ones computer.  The date of airing is 10-14-2014.  The portion about the Children's Rosary can be heard at time mark 11:55. To listen to the program and hear the song Rosary Children sung by the children click HERE.

If you would like to hear the song Rosary Children on your local radio station please request it.  We are sharing the song with Radio stations around the world.  We also are extending an invitation to radio stations to air the Children's Rosary.  These prayers of the children in a special way touch hearts. Please help us by reaching out to your local radio stations with requests to hear the children leading the Rosary.  Recently a mom shared that on the way to drop her daughter off at College the family listened to the children leading the Rosary 6 times in a row in the car.  The mom remarked that hearing the voices of the children praying never gets old.  Indeed there is something very special about small children praying and it is our hope that many people will find blessings and a deepening of prayer through praying along with the children. Radio stations interested in airing our songs or the Rosary led by the children please see link for contact information HERE.

Mass Offered Today for the Members of the Children's Rosary

Children's Rosary at Our Lady of Fatima Parish
Hartford, CT
One of the Children's Rosary group leaders who runs a Children's Rosary in a parish named after Our Lady of Fatima has given a wonderful gift to the Children's Rosary.  On the 13th of every month she has a Mass said for members of the Children's Rosary.

Ninety seven years ago today Our Lady appeared to the three little children in Fatima, Portugal.  She asked the children, as she had done on her preceding visits, to pray the Rosary daily.  Another one of the requests of Our Lady of Fatima was monthly confession on the first Saturday.

Our Lady promised the children that on the 13th of October she would show them a sign.  She was true to her promise and the children along with approximately 75,000 saw a magnificent site with the sun "dancing" in the sky.

New Children's Rosary at the Daughters of Charity Convent

There is a new Children's Rosary at the Daughters of Charity Convent in Bridgeport Connecticut.  Several weeks ago several of the members of the Children's Rosary visited with Sr. Tremblay who runs the convent.  When we arrived she was working outside distributing bags of food to the families of the local community.  She brought us inside to see the nursery school she also helps to run.  Sweet little ones were all napping on the floor.  Sr. Tremblay was so excited to introduce the Children's Rosary to the children in her neighborhood.

help begin her Chidlren's Rosary group
We humbly shared with her a box of Rosaries that had been donated to us.  We also were able to give her 40 Children's Rosary books to help begin her Children's Rosary group. Sr. Tremblay called this week to share that her new Children's Rosary group had met for the first time on Sunday October 5th.  Eighteen children and 6 adults were present.  Many of these children she had invited on her visits to different at risk neighborhoods throughout Bridgeport.  She plans to hold her Children's Rosary weekly on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM ET.  It has been such a wonderful thing to see new Children's Rosary groups being run by sisters from different orders.  We hope this continues to spread.

Oasis of Peace

Children's Rosary at St. Mary's School
Orange, Texas
In a time when children in particular have been targeted by war it is particularly important for our children to find a place of peace.  Jesus as we know is the Prince of Peace and when we come to Him in prayer we find peace that does not come from this world.  Our Lady of Fatima said to the children, pray the Rosary for peace and to stop wars.  Indeed there is a peace that flows abundantly through prayer especially the Rosary.   Many have said that war is a symptom of many individuals who have lost peace in their heart.  To bring our children to Our Blessed Mother and Our Lord in prayer is to bring them to an Oasis of Peace where they can enjoy the Love of their Heavenly Father.  As Pope Francis said, "the Rosary is medicine for the Heart."

May I humbly thank all you who help to organize and run Children's Rosary prayer groups. It is such a gift to give our children an opportunity to come together in prayer of the Rosary with other children.  It is also a wonderful grace for our families and this world so in need of Peace.

Please consider joining the children in prayer from your home.  There are many Children's Rosary groups meeting over the next few days.  The children always pray for those unifying prayers with them.  To find out more about beginning a Children's Rosary prayer group in your parish, school or orphanage click HERE.

Ask and It Will Be Given to You

Children's Rosary at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
 in Brentwood California
"Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"(Luke 11: 9-13) This was part of the beautiful Gospel today and gives us the assurance that each prayer that is said finds an answer from Our Lord.

These little children that meet each week pictured above continue to knock, asking for such beautiful things as peace in our world and renewal of prayer in families. Such prayers persist and through the words of the Gospel today we are assured such requests are heard and generously answered.

Please consider joining the children in prayer.  The Children always pray for those unifying prayers with them. Today we have several Children's Rosary groups meeting.

"Simple Children Asking Our Loving God for Great Things"

Children's Rosary in Corvallis, Oregon

Recently I received a wonderful little note from our Children's Rosary group leader at St. Mary's Church in Corvallis, Oregon.  The group leader is a father and began the group on November 2nd of 2013.  Since beginning the group, only his two children have attended.  They meet each Saturday at 9AM PT in a little library within the Church.  The children kneel before a large picture of Our Lady.  Despite the fact that their group has remained small, just the two of them, the children have remained faithful to their meetings.

This past weekend the children had a wonderful surprise another little girl joined them.  They were so excited and the family shared that they would like to attend each week.  Such a gift for the two sweet children and their father who have always hoped more children would come.  The father spoke so beautifully in his note of the grace he has come to experience through the Children's Rosary. I asked his permission to share his note:

"It feels like God's grace is like a flood ready to pour out and He gives us the little latch of simple, confident prayer to open the floodgates."

"It is beautiful that God wants to pour out so much grace upon this world, but He respects our free will and He also wants us to share and collaborate in His work of redemption, so He does not force His grace upon the world.  Rather He asks us for simple things like prayer and sacrifice as the little keys that unlock the gates and allow the flood of grace to pour out into so many souls.  Once we see that God has given us these little keys, we feel bolder and stronger to ask bold and great things from God because He wants them.  We are not trying to twist His arm to help us rather we are confidently asking our loving Father for all the good things that He wants to give to us, knowing that all He wants for us is to ask with trust and be patient and persevering to allow God to act in His time.  This is the beauty of the Children's Rosary is that it is simple children asking our loving Father for great things that His heart so wants to give to us."
