New Children's Rosary

A New Children's Rosary is forming in Friday Harbor WA USA

The first meeting of the children's rosary will be at St. Francis Church on October 7th: the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.  The group will meet directly after the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass.  Anyone interested in joining should contact Caitlin at kittycait1226@aol.com

The timing of the first meeting of the Children's Rosary at St. Francis Church seems to also point to the Blessings of this time of year.  It is the same week as the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, for whom the Church is named.  The meeting is also within days of the beginning of the year of Faith which begins October 11th.  Truly we are living in blessed times.  Our Holy Father is calling for a New Evangelization and Our Blessed Mother is guiding this renewal of Faith with the prayers of the smallest among us, our children.  Dear St. Therese the Little Flower, whose Feast it is today, called us all to be small and simple.  We are all the children of our Blessed Mother and her Son. Let us all celebrate that Our Lady has seen to call another children's rosary group to form.  For it is through the Rosary that Our Lady will draw our children to her Immaculate Heart and protect them.  She will also sanctify families and parishes in this way.

It is the prayer of the members of the Children's Rosary that many will feel inspired by the forming of this second Children's Rosary and contemplate starting one in their Parish. More information on starting a Children's Rosary
