Today we had a wonderful surprise. News came from Quito, Ecuador that a Mass was being celebrated for the Children's Rosary at 1PM ET at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Fr. Zurita who had recently started a Children's Rosary in his parish heard that a Mass was offered yesterday for the Children's Rosary by another Children's Rosary group in Middleboro, Massachusetts USA. Hearing of this blessing he felt inspired to offer a Mass at his own parish for the same intention.
Indeed word has been coming from many members around the world of special prayers going up for the the Children's Rosary. Yesterday I received a picture from Belgium. One of our members wrote that he had made a special trip to The Shrine at Banneux and prayed for the Children's Rosary. He took a picture of the place where he prayed.
Hearing from so many that they are praying for the Children's Rosary is something I wanted to share with all of you. Through the children people from around the world are now connected in prayer. We are from all corners of the world and yet connected. Yesterday at Adoration with my son we lit a candle for all the members of the Children's Rosary and their families that they may grow in holiness. Today before our monthly Children's Rosary the children lit another candle for the Children's Rosary...the candle in pictured above in the red holder. A second candle was also lit in thanksgiving. Indeed there is so much to be thankful for. We are not alone walking on this journey toward Our Lord.
Thank you all dear friends for your prayers and support.
God Bless.
The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
