A new Children's Rosary met for the first time today at St. Gregory the Great School in Bluffton, South Carolina USA. It was begun by a grandmother. Thirteen children attended the first meeting which was held immediately after school at 3PM ET. At the first meeting the group was Consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. In this way the group is under the protection and guidance of Christ and his Mother.
A second Children's Rosary group will be forming within the parish on Wednesday evenings. Their first meeting will be held on October 21st. In this way the children of the parish not attending the school will also be able to have a prayer group.
As the month of October is dedicated to the Rosary it is very special to have these new groups forming sprinkled around the world. They are like twinkling lights shining up to heaven. It is a beautiful thought to imagine the prayers of these little ones rising to the throne of God.
A special thank you to all the members of the Children's Rosary. These new little groups are the fruits of so many prayers. Thank you all.

The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
