There are times when the most beautiful and comforting thing you can say is to be silent and just be with that person.
We can offer no answers or truly consoling words about last Friday's events but we can remember Our Blessed Mother, whose heart was pierced seven times during her life here on earth. The sixth sword to pierce her heart was having her crucified Son placed in her arms. Her final wound to the heart was burying her Son. This is what the families of the victims must do this week. There is nothing to be said only to stand in silence with our hearts unified to theirs in prayer. We remember all those who lost their lives that day in CT. Little Olivia age 6 was just learning the rosary and was to be an angel in the Christmas pageant this past weekend.

We continue to hold all these grieving individuals in our heart and ask Our Blessed Mother to hold them as she held her Son and comfort them in this moment of heartache.
