Welcome Pope Leo XIV

 

It has been a wonderful 24 hours of learning more about our new Holy Father. Pope Leo XIII was known as the Rosary Pope. He wrote 11 encyclicals about the Rosary. 

Mother Theresa of Calcutta was fond of saying that God does not choose the qualified he qualifies the ones he chooses. While she did not say this in reference to a Pope, we can still imagine that although our new Holy Father has been described as saintly, he can still benefit from our prayers. Thus let us cover him with our prayers. He is the Vicar of Christ on earth.  Habemus papam!
