Barrel Number Two Leaves Today!

Today a barrel containing 7,860 Rosaries left on the first part of its journey. The ultimate destination is Uganda!! The barrel also contains a 10 inch statue of St. John Paul II that was donated to the Children's Rosary as well as 50 Children's Rosary books. Fr. Richard picked up the barrel tonight just after 6PM. Before it went in his car, he blessed it.

Fr. Richard not only blessed the Rosaries but also conveyed a blessing on those who helped make the rosaries that were included in the container. Almost all of the rosaries which were sent were handmade.

This barrel will join our previous barrel in a shipping container. The two barrels will travel together from the United States to Uganda - a trip that will take approximately 3 months.
Our previous barrel contained 1,000 Children's Rosary books and 5,292 Rosaries.

Between the two barrels the total number of rosaries being sent to Uganda is
13,152  Rosaries!

These rosaries will help in initiating Children's Rosary groups in 30 schools in Uganda.

We are in need of donations to help cover the expense of shipping and also the printing cost for the books that have been sent. Donations can be made electronically HERE or mailed directly to Children's Rosary.
