New Children's Rosary Meets on the Feast of St. Monica
Today on the Feast of St. Monica we have good news to share. A new Children's Rosary group held their first meeting today. The group has formed in an outstation of Our Lady of Fatima Mwera Parish in Uganda. The outstation is named after one of the Ugandan martyrs. Fr. Jude wrote that 130 children have joined the new Children's Rosary at St. Ponsiano Church. Last week we were able to send a package of handmade rosaries and Children's Rosary materials to Fr. Jude for this new Children's Rosary and the growing number of children that have joined the Children's Rosary at the main parish and other outposts. He wrote today of the children in the new group: "Many have no Rosaries! Thanks for the package on its way". The pictures below are of the materials we sent. These included 430 rosaries, 100 Children's Rosary bookmarks, three of our new Joyful Mysteries Children's Rosary CDs and 25 Children's Rosary books.
We thank all of you who support the Children's Rosary through donations and the Rosaries you lovingly make and send. This is the fruits of your gifts. These little children in rural Uganda with very little have Rosaries on the way which they will use when they come together each Sunday to pray as a Children's Rosary prayer group.
