This morning a beautiful picture had been sent from our Children's Rosary group in Queensland, Australia. As we here in the Northeast part of the United States are still under several feet of snow, seeing children meeting in prayer outside was a beautiful image to behold. Indeed Our Blessed Mother has a way of bringing people together from distant places and making our world feel like a very small place. Though I have never traveled to Australia, Our Lady has created a beautiful friendship and a knowledge that we are all praying together for each other and for Our Lady and Our Lord's plans to unfold.
This Children's Rosary group is part of the Church of the Real Presence in Brighton. The children meet at St. Kieran's School Wednesday mornings at 8AM before classes start. This past week 2 children in 6th grade helped to set up and also helped in bringing more children over which was wonderful. As the Children's Rosary is a prayer group for children, as the children pray and grow it is beautiful to see them helping to organize and bring more children together.
This Children's Rosary group met for the first time on October 22nd 2014, the Feast of St. John Paul II. Looking at these little ones praying with Our Lady one can imagine St. John Paul smiling on the young people who were so dear to him during his life.

The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
