Patiently Waiting in Manchester, England

Scarlett-Maria is preparing her family's window with a Patiently Waiting sign. She joins others from around the world who are participating in the Children's Rosary "Patiently Waiting" Campaign. This sign is a gentle reminder of where our hearts can be found as we prepare ourselves for the coming of Christ. On Christmas Eve, the sign will be taken down and a new one put up that reads "Christ is Born!"

Participate in the Day of the Little Candles December 7 2021

The Day of the Little Candles or Día de las Velitas is a custom practiced all over Colombia in honor of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. The way each state in Colombia celebrates the Day of the Little Candles varies according to the region.

On the evening of December 7th, lanterns are put in front of homes and in the streets with candles inside. There are processions to honor the Immaculate Conception.  They carry a statue of the Virgin Mary through the streets finishing at the Church where they end by saying the rosary.

Beginning in 2012 we have celebrated the Day of the Little Candles. We invite members of the Children's Rosary to also put out candles or lanterns in honor of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Here is a LINK of how to make the lanterns in English. Here is the LINK in Spanish.

Join us for Our Annual Personal Consecration to Jesus through Mary for 2021

Every year we humbly invite members of the Children's Rosary to make a personal Consecration to Jesus through Mary. The 33 Day preparation begins November 29 and concludes on January 1: the Feast of Mary, Mother of God. We recommend the book
Child Consecration: To Jesus through Mary—Following in the Spirit of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower. This can be used by adults and young people. It has recently been used by Archbishop Blair of Hartford, Connecticut USA for his Consecration. Bishop Rhoades of Fort Wayne -  South Bend, Indiana USA also recently used the book for his Consecration journey.  Books can be purchased to guide your Consecration journey. If you do not have access to purchase books an online Consecration journey is available at www.childconsecration.com
