Global Rosary Relay for Priests 2020

Tomorrow is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is also the World Day of Prayer for Priests. World Priests has organized a Global Rosary Relay for Priests which will be held on June 19th. This is the fifth year the Children's Rosary has been invited to participate in this event. Beginning in Siberia and spreading across the globe, every 15 to 20 minutes individuals at different Shrines will lead a Rosary for the sanctification of Priests. See the list of Shrines participating and the time they will lead the Rosary. Consider unifying in prayer with a Shrine to pray for the sanctification of priests. If we want holy priests we need to pray for them! Thank you all.

June 17th 2020: Feast of Bl. Marie Joseph Cassant

Today is the Feast of Bl. Marie Joseph Cassant. His personal motto was "All for Jesus, all through Mary." Bl. Cassant lived only 24 years but he was a witness of humility and meekness. His fellow monks acknowledged that he was ever happy and ever smiling. This despite his health was not good and tuberculosis caused him significant suffering towards the end of this life. We ask for his special intercession today.

In a special way prayers were said for all the members of the Children's Rosary and all who help the Children's Rosary while touching a first class relic of Bl. Cassant today.

Children's Rosary Intern for the Summer of 2020

We wish to welcome, Mary Clare Kelly, our new Children's Rosary intern for the summer of 2020. This is our very first intern!! Please keep her in your prayers.

Mary Clare Kelly will be a senior in College this fall. Mary Clare first became involved with the Children's Rosary as her mother was a Children's Rosary group leader. She attended weekly meetings to pray the Rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament at her parish. She also made rosaries which she sent to the Children's Rosary to help new groups forming.

Mary Clare will be assisting with many projects this summer. We hope to feature her as a guest writer on the Children's Rosary blog soon. She also has already jumped into working on the translation project for our Children's Rosary book. We hope to be releasing the Children's Rosary book in several more languages this year.

We see Mary Clare's involvement as a beautiful fruit of the Children's Rosary. This is a young person who has been involved in this tapestry of prayer and now is helping the Apostolate grow and reach more children.

Visit to St. Anne Shrine

Last Sunday we were able to attend Mass for the first time since the pandemic began at St. Anne Shrine in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. It felt like a very special grace to be able to have the first Mass on the Feast of the Holy Trinity. All of our Children's Rosary books are dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
The Mass was held outside but we took a picture of the Church which is shown below.

In a special way I prayed for all the members of the Children's Rosary.
