New Children's Rosary Forms in Chester, England

The Children's Rosary at St. Clare's Church in Chester, England held their first meeting November 5, 2024. The group leader wrote the following to us: "Our first Children's Rosary was truly amazing, I felt like I was in heaven with the children, definitely we felt the presence of Our Lady with us. I think I was smiling through the whole prayer meeting, we had 7 children of different ages."
"After the Holy Mass we had a mini party where some of the children decorated the petition box, we were learning the beginning of the Rosary song and just got to know each other, in the end we lit up sparklers for Our Lady to ignite in everyone's hearts the desire to pray the Rosary."

Join Us for the Novena of the Miraculous Medal: November 18-26 2024

O Immaculate Virgin Mary,

Mother of Our Lord Jesus and our Mother,
penetrated with the most lively confidence in your
all-powerful and never-failing intercession,
manifested so often through the Miraculous Medal,
we your loving and trustful children implore you to obtain for us the graces and favors we ask during this novena,
if they be beneficial to our immortal souls,
and the souls for whom we pray.

(Here mention your petitions *)

You know, O Mary, how often our souls have been
the sanctuaries of your Son who hates iniquity.
Obtain for us then a deep hatred of sin and that
purity of heart which will attach us to God alone so
that our every thought, word and deed may tend to
His greater glory.
Obtain for us also a spirit of prayer and self-denial
that we may recover by penance what we have lost
by sin and at length attain to that blessed abode
where you are the Queen of angels and of men.

Amen.
(source: EWTN)

The Children's Rosary would like to humbly invite you to join us in praying the Novena of the Miraculous Medal (November 18th -26th).
* In a special way may we pray for the intentions of Our Blessed Mother and a fulfillment of Her plans for each of us and the Children's Rosary prayer group movement. We pray for Peace, Peace Peace!  May God help the Children's Rosary to put more miraculous medals in the hands of children. Amen.

Release of the New Children's Rosary Christmas Card for 2024!

Inspired by a hand-painted mural in coastal Kenya, this Christmas card features the Holy Family within a cave and the night sky behind them. Each of our Children's Rosary Christmas Cards was painted by a young artist who has participated in the Children's Rosary. Iris, age 14, painted this card.

Purchase of the Christmas cards helps the work of the Children's Rosary. This year alone we have sent out more than 100,000 handmade rosaries to help new Children's Rosary groups form or to help established groups.

Mass Offered for Seminarians on November 1, 2024

On November 1, 2024, a Mass was offered for all seminarians so that they will grow in holiness and lead us in love. As our future shepherds, the seminarians need our prayers, and what a beautiful way for the world's children to support these men called by God. Many people throughout the world have been inspired by the vocation stories we are featuring each month, and so we gratefully continue publishing our featured seminarians’ stories. This month, we introduce Dominic Sceski, a seminarian from Oxford, Pennsylvania, USA.

My name is Dominic Sceski, and I am twenty-five years old, currently in my second year of seminary at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. I grew up in Oxford, Pennsylvania, surrounded by a loving family with three brothers and three sisters.  I was homeschooled through high school and then attended Villanova University, where I studied English and Humanities while serving as the president of the university Pro-Life Club.  After graduating in 2021, I worked as a speaker for Generation Life, a Pro-Life nonprofit that promotes the message of chastity to other young people and advocates for the rights of the unborn.

Growing up homeschooled, I was blessed to be able to attend daily Mass and altar serve almost every day.  I first felt called to the priesthood when I was ten years old, inspired by the example of my pastor.  However, as I got into high school, my focus shifted to dating, and I became convinced that I would never be happy unless I got married.  When I arrived at college, I had completely put the thought of priesthood aside, and spent much of my time thinking that girls would satisfy the ache in my heart.  It wasn't until the end of college that God gave me everything I THOUGHT I wanted, in order to show me that it wasn't truly what I wanted.  After breaking up with a girl who I had thought was "the one,” I went into the chapel and asked God the question that had been burning on my heart for years: "God, can you satisfy me?"  He gave me the answer right away, responding, "Dominic, will you let me?"  After receiving this answer in prayer, I realized how I had been running from the priesthood and decided to finally trust that if God wanted me to become a priest, then He would satisfy the desires of my heart.  I was admitted to the seminary in Fall of 2023, and God has thus far been blessing my journey toward the priesthood.

I hope as a priest to show others that Jesus truly is the desire of our hearts.  We spend our lives thinking that other things will make us happy—our careers, our social status, our hobbies, even our earthly relationships.  While there's nothing wrong with these, the reality is that none of these will ever be enough for us.  As Saint John Paul II once said, "It is Jesus you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else satisfies you."  With God's help, my goal is to bring others face to face with this reality.  Thank you for your prayers, and always know of God's love for you!

We humbly ask that you please keep Dominic Sceski in your prayers.

An Unexpected Surprise on the Feast of St John Paul II: October 22, 2024

During a recent visit to EWTN Global Catholic Network in Birmingham, Alabama, we had a very special surprise on the Feast of St John Paul II, October 22. Fr. Joseph Mary Wolfe, the Chaplain of EWTN, devoted a considerable amount of his homily that day on the EWTN televised Mass to discussing the Children's Rosary. As the EWTN Mass is one of the most watched programs on EWTN Global Catholic Network, this gift surely served as an open door for Our Blessed Mother to bring more Children's Rosary groups into existence. A link to the Mass is below. Fr Joseph Mary Wolfe begins speaking about the Children's Rosary at time mark 30 minutes

After Mass he also surprised us by joining Asher and me for breakfast at the Network's St. Clare Dining room.

A Mass was offered on October 25, 2024 for all the members of the Children's Rosary and all who help the Children's Rosary. May Our Lord's love be poured down on all of you through the powerful sacrifice of the Holy Mass.
