Children's Rosary

The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.

Members of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut Make Personal Consecration Journey

Members of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut, began a personal Consecration journey, January 9, 2024, using the book, Child Consecration: To Jesus through Mary—Following in the Spirit of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower. This Consecration journey will conclude on February 11, 2024: the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Over 20,000 families are currently receiving daily emails with links to the prayers and daily videos guiding the Consecration Journey. Prayers for Christian Unity January 18-25, 2024

Prayer for Christian Unity through the Intercession of Bl. Maria Gabriella

God please hear our supplication through the intercession of Bl. Maria Gabriella for Christian unity. May each of us and the Children's Rosary be an instrument in Your hands to knit all that has been pulled apart into one tapestry of prayer, love and peace doing all according to Your holy Will.

Remembering the words from Scripture when Our Lord prayed, "May all be one; even as You Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me". (John 17:21) Amen.

Please also say 3 Glory Be prayers to accompany the above prayer.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity began on January 18th 2024. It has been a tradition for the Children's Rosary to pray in a special way for Christian Unity during this week. As Bl. Gabriella dedicated her life for the intention of Christian Unity it seemed particularly special to pray through her intercession.

Bl. Gabriella was born in 1914 and died at the age of 25 in 1939. She was beatified on January 25th by Pope John Paul II 1983.
