This week we traveled to Chicago for the annual Catholic Marketing Network Trade Show. We have attended this Conference every year since 2013 with the exception of 2020 when it was not held in person due to the pandemic. We led the Rosary on Thursday before Mass. We were able to see many old friends and were able to make new ones. We were able to see Nikki Athey who sponsored one of our barrels full of handmade rosaries for Uganda. She is photographed in the orange dress above. She had made the donation in honor of her friend who is pictured with us. We were also able to catch up with Fr. Calloway who is pictured with our Children's Rosary book. He has been a wonderful friend to the Children's Rosary. We were also able to give him a copy of our new Child Consecration book. We also made new friends including those at the booth next to us. The Children's Rosary seeks to feed the spiritual needs of children around the world, those at Mary's Meals are helping with their physical hunger. It is beautiful when children are fed both spiritually and physically.
The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
