Children’s Rosary Group from St. Gallus, Scheidegg Parish, Germany visits Radio Horeb

The group leader Enrico Pintus wrote, "I would like to share the happy news that a small delegation of our Children's Rosary group from Scheidegg (Germany) followed the invitation we received from the Christian radio station "Horeb" from Germany based in Balderschwang last Sunday, January 13, 2024, and locally we were able to pray the Glorious Rosary for Fatima Day LIVE in the radio station's recording studio on behalf of many!"

"It was a very nice experience, and the 5 children (girls) and I really enjoyed this trip to Radio Horeb and the associated prayer service!"

"The action once again showed our group how praying the rosary brings a piece of the world church together and connects us Christians with each other, together with Mary and Jesus, through prayer with God. Yes, today the Holy Mother of God really takes her children by the hand by praying the Rosary, shows them her Son, and thus leads us humans on the right path of peace to God, who is our Father. We can always trust the Mother of God with our concerns and need not fear as she is our strong advocate with our Lord in heaven."

EWTN Radio Conference 2018

Last week we attended the EWTN Radio Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. We had a Children's Rosary Booth at the Conference. Our purpose for attending was to make available free to radio stations programming the Children's Rosary has produced.

It is our hope that through the soft, sweet, innocent voices of children that many hearts may be touched all for the glory of God.

If you have a local Catholic Radio station consider reaching out to them. Invite them to air our Children's Rosary.
We have various free programming available to stations:
*Children's Rosary (Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous and Glorious Mysteries)
* Four different Litanies
*Short and Long Chaplet of Divine Mercy recorded by members of the Children's Rosary.
* Our most recent addition that we released at the radio conference is our new Spanish Children's Rosary.

It gives us great joy to make these recordings available to stations. Each airing provides an avenue for the children to evangelize.  Through each child that is part of the Children's Rosary they add their prayers to this movement. The prayers of so many children call down grace that brings a multitude of fruits in many hearts even the ones that are the most hardened.

If you would like more information about airing the Children's Rosary on a radio station please contact Blythe at blythe@childrensrosary.org
The Children's Rosary can be heard each day on EWTN Radio Classics streaming HERE at 4:30 PM ET.

God bless you all.

The Skies in Alaska are Filled With the Voices of Children Praying

The Northern Lights Over Fairbanks, Alaska
Source: Wiki Commons
Beginning yesterday the Children's Rosary began airing on the radio in Alaska.  First from 94.1 FM a station in Anchorage, Alaska and today from 92.7 FM, a station broadcasting to Fairbanks, North Pole and the Interior Alaska Region.  It is beautiful to imagine these little voices traveling through the this vast land.  They go out in all directions until the signal fades or they reach a massive structure such as the mountains in Denali National Park.  In many areas it is quiet and at this time of year often dark.  These little voices are like a light in the darkness carrying with them hope.

A member of the Children's Rosary once shared with me something a priest had said.  He recommended keeping religious music playing or the Rosary very low in your home.  Even if you are not praying along it is covering the space with Our Lord's name being praised and that in itself brings protection and blessings to a home.  In much the same way I like to imagine the voices of the children moving through the air bringing blessings to the land they cover.  So often there are so many things that are offensive to Our Lord bouncing off satellites.  When one imagines the voices of young children praying the Rosary and their voices moving out in all directions, in turn it warms the heart.  The region in Alaska where the Children's Rosary is being aired, includes remote regions.  These individuals living in the "bush" require a combination of bush planes, snow machines and boats to reach them 3-4 months of the year.  Some do not have running water and limited access to electricity.  However they do have radios.  For those living in such remote areas the radio is an avenue for grace.  Many people living in these communities may only have a priest visit their area once or twice a year.  In this way, the children's voices praying the Rosary are a way to connect those that may feel alone or disconnected from others.  All the children praying in Children's Rosary prayer groups around the world contribute to the grace that flows with these airings.  It is the bellows that continues to blow these voices into areas we had never contemplated and reaches hearts often far from Our Lord.  In this way I would like to thank all of you for your prayers.  These gifts are the fruits of the many prayers said by our tiniest members but also those of us further on in years.

In addition to the blessings that the airing of the Children's Rosary brings we have more good news.  Last night we heard from two families from Alaska joining our Miraculous Medal Novena.  They also hope to begin a Children's Rosary prayer group at Immaculate Conception Church in Fairbanks, Alaska.  They sent us a link to an Arctic Cam where one can see their Church.  You will see they already have snow cover and average temperatures have been around -20 F in the night with daytime highs around -10F.

Seeing these pictures one can see the beauty of Our Lord's hand.  Although we live in very different places, in prayer we are not so much different. Our Lady and Our Lord have a way of knitting us together.

Thank you all and God Bless.

Children's Rosary to Air on Holy Spirit Radio

The Children's Rosary received a beautiful surprise.  After a great many prayers from members all around the world that we would be able to bring the Children's Rosary to the airwaves, good news comes just before Christmas.  Holy Spirit Radio, which airs in regions of Pennsylvania USA (Philadelphia/Doyleston area on WISP 1570 AM, Coatsville/Chester County WCOJ 1420 AM and live online), wrote to us that our Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary led by the children will air on three days during their 3PM Holy Hour.  The dates which were chosen are beautiful:

Sunday December 28th Feast of the Holy Family
Monday December 29th (OM) St. Thomas Becket
Monday January 5th (M) St. John Neumann

While we have released the Glorious and Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary led by the children on CD we have yet to release the Luminous or Joyful.  These we hope to release in the spring of 2015 as we are still recording some original music which we hope to include on the CDs.  However the Rosary tracks led by the children set to beautiful instrumental music are complete and available to radio stations who would like to air them.  There is something special about the voices of young children praying. Through their innocence their voices touch hearts in a very special way.

December 28th will mark the first time the children's recordings of the Joyful mysteries will be heard.

Taking this gift of the three airings to prayer one begins to see there is a treasure of beautiful tiny gifts packed into this package of three. Our Lord in His wisdom hands out these gifts after much prayer and sacrifice that we may savor each one, carefully looking at it and appreciating each facet. Praying about it further one sees how carefully and deliberately He selected the gifts that are given.
The Feast of the Holy Family is a most glorious date to to have been given for our first full airing of the Children's Rosary Joyful Mysteries.  The Feast of the Holy Family usually is celebrated on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year. A little know fact about the Children's Rosary is that the first meeting of the Children's Rosary was held in 2011 in a chapel named after the Holy Family.  Many are aware of the name of the parish (St. Thomas the Apostle) but few are aware that the lower chapel where the children met is actually named after the Holy Family. It is beautiful to contemplate Mary, Joseph and the child Jesus leading our children in their journey of prayer. Indeed as each child, together with other little ones, prays and contemplates the life of Jesus in the mysteries of the Rosary, they come to know and love Our Lord and their heavenly family.  The love within this Holy Family embracing them and leads them in love which flows into their own families at home.

The 28th of December is also a special day as it remembers the Holy Innocents that were killed as Mary and Joseph fled to Egypt with the baby Jesus.  Indeed a reminder of the important role little children played in the life of Our Lord.

December 29th the Eastern Church remembers the Holy Innocents.  It is is a Monday within the Octave of Christmas.  It is also an optional memorial of St. Thomas Becket.  He was an English Bishop who was martyred. St. Thomas was known for his love of Our Lady, his piety and generosity to the poor. All beautiful qualities to mirror. Interestingly he was born on the Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle.

January 5th is the Memorial of St. John Neumann.  Originally from Bohemia in Europe he traveled to the United States to become ordained a priest as there were so many priests in his home region that the local Bishop had decided not to ordain any more priests for a period of time.  As St. John Neumann could find no Bishop in Europe to ordain him he traveled across the Atlantic to New York.  His desire to reach out to all individuals drew him to learn 6 languages so that he could offer the sacrament of reconciliation to diverse group of people.  He also was committed to Catholic Education of young people and helped to open many Catholic schools throughout the United States. He would become Bishop of Philadelphia which interestingly is the city where our Children's Rosary will air on his Feast.  We have found St. John Neumann to be a powerful intercessor for the Children's Rosary with many little blessings occurring throughout our journey.

Indeed there are so many special things about these dates.  As one spends more time in prayer and reading, more and more connections are made.  That is the beauty of Our Lord His gifts are rich in meaning and show us that He is watching over every detail.

May we humbly ask all who are reading this to request that your local radio stations air the Children's Rosary near you. We make available all the Children's Rosary recordings free to the stations to air. Please direct then to our site and also ask them to email us at contactchildrensrosary@gmail.com

Thank you so much.  Please know that you are in our prayers.

Members of the Children's Rosary that recorded the song:
"Rosary Children"
The Children's Rosary new theme song "Rosary Children" was featured today on the show: Songs of the Spirit.  The show airs the second Tuesday of the Month at 9:30 AM ET on Holy Spirit Radio. The station broadcasts both in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area as well as in the Chester County of Pennsylvania USA.  We are very honored to have the Children's Rosary theme song featured on the program today.  We are also very grateful to Kathy Gasson, host of Songs of the Spirit, for her help spreading the Children's Rosary.

Broadcasts are archived and can be heard on ones computer.  The date of airing is 10-14-2014.  The portion about the Children's Rosary can be heard at time mark 11:55. To listen to the program and hear the song Rosary Children sung by the children click HERE.

If you would like to hear the song Rosary Children on your local radio station please request it.  We are sharing the song with Radio stations around the world.  We also are extending an invitation to radio stations to air the Children's Rosary.  These prayers of the children in a special way touch hearts. Please help us by reaching out to your local radio stations with requests to hear the children leading the Rosary.  Recently a mom shared that on the way to drop her daughter off at College the family listened to the children leading the Rosary 6 times in a row in the car.  The mom remarked that hearing the voices of the children praying never gets old.  Indeed there is something very special about small children praying and it is our hope that many people will find blessings and a deepening of prayer through praying along with the children. Radio stations interested in airing our songs or the Rosary led by the children please see link for contact information HERE.
