Mark your calendars for the Annual Global Rosary Relay for Priests. Each year we invite members of the Children's Rosary to participate. If we want holy priests we need to pray for them. More information can be found HERE.
The Children's Rosary® is a prayer group movement that was begun out of love for Our Lady and Her Son. Jesus tells us "Truly, I say to you unless you turn and become like children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). The Children's Rosary is an effort to begin in parishes rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.

Children's Rosary Participates in Global Rosary Relay: Highlights from Vietnam 2017
We are already receiving pictures from Children's Rosary groups participating in this years Global Rosary Relay for Priests which is organized by Worldpriest.com.
The children from Suoi Sao orphanage in Bien Hoa met today and unified prayers with others around the world praying for the sanctification of priests - this being the world day of prayer for priests.
The children began their meeting today by coloring pictures of priests and they gave them to Our Lady of La Vang. Then they knelt in prayer of the Rosary praying the Joyful Mysteries.
The Global Rosary relay is in full swing right now with many more shrines still yet to lead a Rosary for the sanctification of priests.
We received word just now that our Children's Rosary group in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania USA will be holding a special meeting today to participate in the Global Rosary relay. They will be praying at 12:15 PM ET.
There is a Children's Rosary group meeting right now from Uganda. They are participating in the Global Rosary Relay. Please consider joining us in prayer! Visit www.childrensrosary.org and click "join in prayer" so we can see your light.

Global Rosary Relay for Priests 2017
Please save the date! The Children's Rosary has once again been invited to participate in the annual Global Rosary Relay for Priests. This is something we are very excited about and hope many children will want to join in! The Global Rosary Relay for priests will be held on June 23rd 2017 which is the World Day of Prayer for Priests and the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Beginning in Siberia every 15 or 30 minutes a Rosary is led at a different Shrine for the sanctification of priests. Over 100 Shrines will be participating from over 50 countries.
Members of the Children's Rosary are encouraged to unify prayers with a Shrine of their choosing and pray a Rosary for the sanctification of priests on June 23rd. Children's Rosary groups already meeting on June 23rd may choose to unify as a group with a Shrine. Groups that would not normally meet on June 23rd, could arrange to hold an extra meeting on that day to help add to the prayer power of the day for priests.
We are very grateful to Marion Mulhull, founder of Worldpriest, for inviting the members of the Children's Rosary to participate. An updated schedule of Shrines participating has just been added to the Worldpriest website. A pdf flyer as seen above, is available on the Worldpriest website in English, French, German and Spanish.

Reflections from the Global Rosary Relay for Priests 2016
We received this beautiful picture from our Children's Rosary group at St. Mary's Parish in Pontiac, Illinois USA. This is the second year they have participated in the Global Rosary Relay for Priests. It was particularly special to see that their parish priest, Fr. Cesarek, joined the children in prayer.
The children joined others praying at over 100 shrines in 50 countries praying in succession for the sanctification of priests.
We also received a note from our Children's Rosary group at St. Mary's Church in Pine Bluff, Wisconsin. They too participated in the Global Rosary Relay for Priests for the second year in a row. The group leader shared that they decided to hold their monthly Children's Rosary slightly later in the day on June 3rd, so they could unify their prayers with those at the Shrine of Our Lady of Einsiedeln in Switzerland. Our group leader, Kellie, thought this providential as St. Mary's Church in Pine Bluff, WI is very close to "America's Little Switzerland" (New Glarus, WI). Swiss heritage is very strong in this region so all were excited to have the opportunity to unify prayers with those in Switzerland for the sanctification of our priests.
We hope these prayers of the children on the World Day of Prayer for Priests are a special way for these little ones to help their shepherds.

We are very grateful to Marion Mulhall, the founder of Worldpriests, for her invitation to the Children's Rosary to participate this year. The children were humbled by this invitation. The response from our members around the world has been so beautiful. The children very much wanted to come together to pray for our priests on the Feast of the Sacred Heart. The little ones also found it very special to know Pope Francis was participating and they were so grateful to receive the gift of his Apostolic Blessing.
Marion has invited the Children's Rosary to be a part of the Global Rosary Relay going forward and we very much look forward to continuing this beautiful tradition. Please mark your calendars next year the Global Rosary Relay for Priests will be held on June 3rd 2016.

Global Rosary Relay for Priests this Friday

| Members of the Children's Rosary in Naples, Florida USA to Participate |
This year members of the Children's Rosary have been asked to participate in this day of prayer for prists by unifying prayers with those being said in the shrines across the globe. As rosaries will be said in succession one after the other, sometimes with beautiful overlap, the children can review the schedule and choose when they would like to join in with prayer. Some of our Children’s Rosary groups such as those at St. Thomas Becket Parish in Cheshire Connecticut USA, St. Augustine Parish Lagos Nigeria, St. Mary's School in Pontiac Ilinois USA, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Avondale Pennsylvania USA will be meeting as a group and unifying prayers with the Shrines. Indeed it is our hope that children will be an integral part of this years Global Rosary Relay for Priests.
Some of the members of the Children’s Rosary have even written about their enthusiasm to be a part of something so far reaching which helps their shepherds. The letter below is written by Abigail pictured above holding her little brother. She and her siblings are part of our Children's Rosary at St. Mary's Church in Pine Bluff, Wisconsin USA.
We would like to humbly extend an invitation to all children and adults to participate in this years Global Rosary Relay. Our priests give so much of themselves and without them we would not have the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass. Please take an opportunity to thank them and let them know of the bounty of prayers going up for them this Friday.

Children All Over The World Add to the Impact of Record-Breaking Rosary Relay on June 12 2015
PRESS RELEASE BY WORLDPRIEST
As thousands of adults join in the sixth Annual Global Rosary for Priests on 12 June this year, the event will receive a special boost as children from around the world add to the sheer wonder of this 24-hour prayerful celebration. These children, who will range in ages from four to fourteen, come from all races and backgrounds and some face the challenges of living a life with special needs.
In welcoming this truly wonderful addition to the volume of prayer resounding around the world on behalf of our priests, many Catholics may recall the three little Portuguese shepherd children who witnessed the apparition of Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima in 1917.
The children taking part this year are members of the Children’s Rosary, a global prayer group movement that is growing steadily on the five continents of Africa, The Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe. The initiative follows an invitation from Worldpriest founder Marion Mulhall to US-based Blythe Kaufman, founder of the Children’s Rosary. The children who are members of this group meet regularly to pray the rosary in parishes and schools around the world and in doing so begin a life of prayer and devotion to Our Lady. During the relay children will take turns at leading the prayers, so their participation will be entirely child led.
“Children have a way of drawing people together,” says Blythe Kaufman. “For this reason it is very exciting to welcome children from all over the world to participate in the Global Rosary Relay for Priests. We are humbled and excited to be invited and to add our voices to the success of this astonishing and beautiful event. Children are very open to prayer, as we have seen in our prayer groups. They bring with them a natural simplicity and love.”
At a general audience in Saint Peter’s Square on 18 March last, Pope Francis was speaking about the family and children. In his audience he had the following to say:
“Children are in and of themselves a treasure for humanity and also for the Church … children remind us of another beautiful thing: they remind us that we are always sons and daughters.”
“In a special way we hope that the involvement of the Children’s Rosary in this year’s Global Rosary Relay will inspire a great many other children – both younger and older children – to unify prayers with shrines across the world for the sanctification of priests,” says Blythe Kaufman.
All children worldwide are invited to join in prayer at their chosen time by viewing the full list of participating shrines and times to pray by visiting www.worldpriest.com.
The relay looks forward to having adults and children alike adding their prayers on 12 June, the Feast of the Sacred Heart.
