Conclave Novena: May 2- May 10

Dear Friends,
In these days during the Easter season leading up to the conclave, may we call down the Holy Spirit to inspire the cardinals who in prayer will vote for the next Supreme Pontiff. This conclave will also fall within the month of May. This is a month that has long been dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. Thus may we also ask Our Lady to cast her protection over this conclave. It is our hope that many children and adults will participate in this spiritual bouquet for the shepherds who we pray will be an instrument to bring about God's Will.
Your Friend in Christ,
Blythe

Conclave Novena in German

Amen.

Conclave Novena in Portuguese

Mass Offered on April 25, 2025 for Members of the Children's Rosary

A Mass was offered on April 25, 2025, for all the members of the Children's Rosary and all who help the Children's Rosary. We continue to have a Mass said for this intention on the twenty-fifth of each month. The Eucharist is such a powerful gift from Our Lord that when we wanted to extend thanksgiving to all of you, we knew of no better way to express gratitude. May Our Lord's love be poured down on all of you through the powerful sacrifice of the Holy Mass.

National Catholic Educators Conference 2025

Greetings from Orlando, Florida, USA. This is the site of the 2025 National Catholic Educators Conference where over 3,000 Catholic educators have gathered. We have been here this week hosting a Children's Rosary booth. We have been sharing with principals and teachers the model of the Children's Rosary and also some of our resources such as the Child Consecration and A Soul Prepared through Suffering books.

This week has been full of beautiful Easter liturgies. Yesterday the sisters from the order of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary hosted a lovely Holy Hour (shown below). In a special way I prayed for all of the members of the Children's Rosary and all who help the Children's Rosary.

Please keep our efforts here in Orlando in your prayers. May the seeds we are sowing bear fruit.

2025 Jubilee: Shendam Diocese Pilgrimage

On April 11, 2025, approximately 4,500 individuals participated in a Diocesan Pilgrimage in the Shendam Diocese, Nigeria.
The Children's Rosary was an integral part of the day. One hundred and fifty children who are part of the Children's Rosary met at 6:00 a.m. to make the 3 hour trip by vehicle. After the trip by vehicle, there was more of a journey to be made on foot to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Pilgrimage Centre.

The walk up to the center began at 10:00 a.m., and the children did not return until 6:00 p.m. With temperatures reaching 39° C (102° F), it was quite a hot day but also one filled with great joy. Bishop Philip Dung, pictured directly below, was most welcoming to the members of the Children's Rosary.

We received this wonderful report from the event:

In line with the declaration of Pope Francis which beckons the faithful of Christ to renew their hope through visiting a designated Church/pilgrimage centre (attached with a plenary indulgence), the Diocese of Shendam had her celebration today.

It was a marvellous sight at Our Lady of Perpetual Help pilgrimage centre Kwanoeng in Quanpan Local Government Area of Plateau State Nigeria as the entire people of God came out en masse to celebrate the Diocesan Jubilee year of hope.

It was a day that the whole Diocese fasted and prayed together as a family including the Bishop, Priests, religious, and the entire faithful- men women, and children alike.

The event started with a meditative walk round the mountain led by the Bishop Most Rev Dr. Philip Davou Dung while the Children's Rosary group, Holy Childhood Association, Young Missionaries Movement, followed in that order of the procession. Also, the different Deaneries were stationed accordingly for the mountain tour. With each participant having a wooden cross, the jubilee flag, and a rosary, the mountain was rounded.

Then came the penitential service led by Fr. Paul Miapkwap. Since it is a day of prayer and penance, the Eucharistic Adoration/recitation of the Rosary was done simultaneously with Confession.

After the penitential service we had Adoration and Confessions; during the Confessions the Children's Rosary group let the people with the Rosary. (Pictures of the Children's Rosary leading the Rosary are below)

May God answer our supplications, and grant healing to our land through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

We had three groups of the Children's Rosary that participated actively at the Diocesan Rally; they are:
The Children's Rosary group of Sacred Heart Cathedral Shendam.
The Children's Rosary group of St John Bosco Parish Namu.
The Children's Rosary Group of St. Augustine Parish Zomo.

Happy 14th Anniversary of the Children's Rosary

The Children's Rosary at the Cathedral Parish in Shendam Diocese of Nigeria sent us the picture above with a lovely recorded anniversary greeting.

April 10, 2025, marks the fourteenth anniversary of the first Children's Rosary meeting in West Hartford, Connecticut, USA. This is the home of the Children's Rosary. In these 14 years the Lord has blessed the children's efforts. Groups have now been initiated in 45 countries. It has become a yearly tradition that during the nine days leading up to the anniversary we have Masses offered for the fulfillment of Our Lady's plans for the Children's Rosary. Then beginning on April 10 we begin 9 days of Masses in Thanksgiving. Over the 19 days (on Good Friday there is no Mass, so the Masses extend 19 days) we have collectively arranged 74 Masses to be celebrated. Thank you to those who arranged Masses. It is not too late to request a Mass through your parish. We would love more Masses offered in thanksgiving.

Children's Rosary in Hamburg, Germany, Celebrates Third Anniversary

The Children's Rosary in Hamburg recently celebrated their third anniversary.

They made a stencil of the Children's Rosary logo in German and decorated bags. We thank this group for their faithfulness to meeting. We often feature new groups when they form but just as important is to recognize the groups that continue to meet. Each group that continues is a victory for Our Blessed Mother.

Offering Sacrifices with Love

The Children's Rosary in Trowbridge, England decided to give handmade hearts to Mary and Jesus during Lent instead of flowers during their Children's Rosary. As is the custom in Children's Rosary groups, at the end of each decade a child or children place flowers before Our Lady. During Lent, this group decided to give hearts with little sacrifices written on one side.

Children's Rosary in Fulda, Germany, Continues to Grow

The Children's Rosary in Fulda, Germany, began with no children attending. For six months the group leader held her meetings and prayed. She did not give up. She kept inviting children. Then her group began to grow, first with just a few children, and now at her April meeting, she had 9 children!
