New Children's Rosary in Mayville, New York USA

Chautauqua Lake
The first meeting of the Children's Rosary at St. Mary of Lourdes Parish in Mayville, NY will be held tomorrow at 10:30 AM ET.  Mayville is a village in Chautauqua County, New York USA. The town  is positioned along the eastern shore of Chautauqua Lake. Winters are very cold and snowy but summers are beautiful and the small community sees large amounts of seasonal visitors each year.  We are very excited to receive news of this new group forming. The group will meet monthly after catechism class but before Sunday Mass.

This new Children's Rosary group joins the many existing Children's Rosary groups spread across 5 continents.  Each group is Consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary at the first meeting.  In this way the group is under the protection of Christ and His Mother. A small intention basket or box is placed before the children so that they may place intentions that are important to them or their families. The children are also asked to pray in a special way for all the members of the Children's Rosary in their meetings.  In this way the children are being covered daily in a blanket of prayers.  With more and more groups forming all the children and members are being covered in more layers of prayer each day. Many parents and grandparents have shared how important it is for them to know that their children are being covered in so many prayers. Indeed these are challenging times to pass on the faith. These little Children's Rosary prayer groups allow the children special time in prayer and create memories for a life time.

The children are also asked to pray for those unifying prayers with them when they meet.  In this way all who unify prayers with the children are also being prayed for in a special way. Please consider joining the children in prayer tomorrow at 10:30 AM ET.
