French Version of the Children's Rosary Book Arrives on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

After over two years of work on the French translation of the Children's Rosary book, we were overjoyed to receive the books today!

The books arrived today around 3:40 PM ET on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. We immediately went to the room where we have a statue of Our Blessed Mother, a crucifix and the Divine Mercy image. The kids knelt and we prayed the Magnificat. We thanked God and Our Lady for the gift of the books and also asked for blessings on all those who helped with the French translation of the book.

Just after dark, which now happens around 4PM ET, the kids and I walked to the post office to send out a package to one of the Children's Rosary groups. As we left the post office there was some light snow for just a minute.  It hit my face and I looked to the lights of the cars and saw it was flakes falling.  Just as quickly as I noticed it... the snow stopped. It made me think of Our Lady.

We also had other things to ponder. Today is the 5 year anniversary of when my daughter, Alina, gave Our Lady a picture she had drawn of Her. There is a little story behind the picture and why it was initially drawn. But the beautiful thing was that the picture which in prayer was given to Our Lady, appears in the back inside cover of the Children's Rosary book. To receive the completed book, after years of work, on this day seems a special gift from Our Lady. To think and ponder Our Lady and her love, it is no wonder she would choose a date that had so much meaning for so many different reasons.

We are very excited to have the book completed as one of our Children's Rosary groups has been patiently waiting for the French version. They are our Children's Rosary group at the Shrine of Banneux in Belgium (pictured above).  They pray in French and have long hoped to have a French version of the Children's Rosary book.

In the coming weeks, we will be providing information as to where the book will be carried. In the meantime, if there are individuals interested in obtaining a copy of the French version of the Children's Rosary book please contact us directly at: blythe.kaufman@childrensrosary.org
