Our Lord Looks After All the Details

This past weekend we were preparing a package for Vietnam containing some Children's Rosary materials. One of the Children's Rosary group leaders in Vietnam asked us if we could include a rose from the last Children's Rosary we held at St. Thomas the Apostle in West Hartford, Connecticut USA. This is the home location for the Children's Rosary. As we had our Children's Rosary the prior weekend, I knew it would be some weeks before our next meeting. I was not sure if we should hold the package until the next meeting but I agreed to see what we could do to include a flower. On Sunday after Mass my daughter and I went down to the lower Church. There was a person praying in the lower Church and the lights we dim so we just took the last seat in the chapel and began to quietly pray the Rosary. At the end of the Rosary, we went to the the statue of Our Lady where we had left the roses from the prior week's Children's Rosary. As we expected the roses were wilted and dropping. But then my daughter and I realized there was just one in perfect condition. It seemed to be waiting there for us. We were thrilled as it meant we could press the rose and send it in the package without waiting 3 weeks.  We continue to see that when we trust God with all our concerns, He shows us that He is looking after every detail.

*We include the picture above of the rose in perfect condition that we brought home from the Church.
