Exploring Lancaster

This week we are at the Catholic Marketing Network Trade Show in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We came in a few days early and have been exploring the city and visiting many beautiful Churches here. We have been able to attend Mass in Spanish at San Juan Bautista Parish.

St. Joseph Church has a Perpetual Adoration Chapel that we were able to visit. I prayed for all the members of the Children's Rosary there today.

We were again able to attend Mass at Historic St. Mary's Church at noon today. St. Mary's Church is shown below. We have been able to meet individuals and families at the different churches. We have been leaving little seeds as we go...sharing copies of the Children's Rosary book. The Gospel today about the mustard seed seemed particularly fitting. Yet, we know that seeds without water will not grow so we try to couple all our visits with lots of prayer. We ask for your prayers as well that these seeds will take root in these beautiful parishes.

God bless you all.

  1. If you feel pity seeing the kids wandering across the red light of crossroads, roaming home to home so that they could quench their hunger for food, get to ccopac and donate money for them so that won’t sleep hungry. They are needy and have made their occupation to beg, in the age of getting educated because it let them earn their two square meal and they are not able to get out of it.

  2. With your savings for a year or 2 before starting college/univ., you will have some money to pay for books, transportation to/from campus or campus housing and to/from a job, and other related expenses of higher education, including the cost of the difference of any scholarships/grants or loans and the actual full tuition.
