An Investment in Our Future

This recent sunset brought to mind how fast time is passing. The year 2017 is almost gone. My husband and I find ourselves talking more and more about time. Seeing our children growing puts this into focus. The year 2017 was a good one for the Children's Rosary. It saw many firsts including new groups in a variety of different countries and regions within the United States. Each new group is a precious gift and we celebrate each one. There were also many calls and letters that came asking for information and materials. One could get overwhelmed but we have always taken the approach of focusing on one person at a time. We also take that approach to funding these efforts. We do not know how we can do all that stands before us with very little funds but we take one day at a time. We try to meet each need as it comes. We also try to respond to the things we feel Our Lord and Our Lady are calling us to do. 

Did you know.... 
*Since October 7th 2016 until today we have had 2 Masses said daily for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
* Over 10,000 Children's Rosary books were given away this year.
* Rosaries and Children's Rosary materials were sent out throughout the United States and to the following countries this past year to help people begin new Children's Rosary groups: Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam, Philippines, Mexico, Nicaragua, South Africa, Panama, Argentina, Venezuela, Spain, Scotland, Australia, Tanzania, Italy, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia and Russia.
* Packages that are sent out are packed and carried to the post office on foot by children.

I marvel at all that Our Lady and Our Lord do through the children and the kind people that are brought to the Children's Rosary. All are a gift from God. 

I hope as this year comes to a close you will remember the Children's Rosary if you are thinking to share a gift. The Children's Rosary is a 501c3 not for profit organization and all donations are tax deductible in the United States.

The Children's Rosary seeks to bring more children to prayer though prayer groups that meet in parishes, schools, and orphanages around the world. It is in these little groups that the prayer lives of children are supported and nurtured. The stock market speaks often about the futures market. I think of the little children ... the future of our Church. What does an investment in their spiritual development yield? Think of the young ones that are helped through the Children's Rosary who might never have come together and prayed with other children. Think of the little ones that might never have taken up a Rosary and come to know the deep love of their Blessed Mother. Indeed this is an investment. It is an investment in our future.

Please do not worry if you are seeing this after the New Year.  A donation in the New Year is a blessed way to enter 2018.
