JOIN US IN PRAYER
On Saturday we have two new Children's Rosary groups meeting for the first time. The first group is in the country of Timor Leste and the second at Epiphany Church in Cheshire, CT USA. The two new Children's Rosary groups are on the opposite sides of the globe. The first Church is named after Our Lady of Fatima, whose call was one to prayer of the Rosary. At every apparition Our Blessed Mother had with the children of Fatima she asked for prayer of the Holy Rosary. The second Church to hold their first meeting of the Children's Rosary this Saturday is Epiphany Church. The word Epiphany is from a Greek verb meaning "to reveal". The Feast celebrates Christ's revelations to man. It is a wonderful thing to contemplate the timing of these two new Children's Rosary groups just days before the Feast of the Holy Rosary. One may even wonder if the names of the Churches themselves are meant to speak to us on a deeper level. Our Lady of Fatima calling us to prayer of the Rosary and specifically the children to prayer. Epiphany Church showing how Our Lady is always pointing us to her son and guiding us on the straightest path to Him. Just as the Magi were led to the baby Jesus Our Lady leads us through prayer and contemplation of her Son's life.
