A Day for Our Lady

The Children's Rosary celebrated the Immaculate Conception with Our Lady this year by bringing her two new groups.  Each was presented to her and Consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and her Immaculate Heart.  Roses were placed at her feet by the children of both parishes: St. Brigid Parish in West Hartford, CT and the Immaculate Conception Parish in Waterbury, CT USA.

As both groups met before the evening Mass, when parishioners slowly made their way into Church they were greeted by the soft sound of children's voices praying the rosary.  How Our Lady must have smiled to see her innocent children leading two parishes in prayer of the Holy Rosary. 

Cupcake Rosary

A small reception was held after the Children's Rosary at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception where the children enjoyed a cupcake rosary and cupcakes spelling out Our Lady's Name.
