We Have Reached the Tipping Point!!!

Dear Friends,

I want to thank you.  You are all a beautiful witness to me of the Love of Our Blessed Mother and Jesus.  Some have thanked me for the gift of the Children's Rosary and I would like to respond by saying you are the gift.  When we began this year in prayer that we would be the extended hands of Jesus and his mother and spread renewal of family prayer across the globe it felt as if we were pushing against an immovable bolder that would not budge.  In faith we continued praying and more joined until hundreds were praying and hundreds of saints were asked to intercede before the Lord.  It is with excitement that I can share with you we are approaching a tipping point.  Our boulder which at first seemed firmly fixed to the ground is beginning to loosen.  It stands before a great hill of many other rocks and as we know when one rock goes many others will be brought with it. We are but small hands but linked together in prayer by Our Lord Jesus we can truly be a momentum of good in our families.  For as we know when our families are strong then our church will be strong.  We are the lungs of the Church.

We all began together as the first children's rosary but the Lord in His generosity has chosen to extend our hand further.  Cathy, mother to 6 beautiful children, three of which have prayed with us at our children's rosary: Mary, Peter and Angela, shared with me that she is feeling called to begin a new children's rosary.  Cathy and her family recently found out that they must relocate to the Boston Area of the US.  This was a difficult and scary prospect with such a large family.  However,  after Mass on Thursday I saw Cathy and her eyes were not full of anxiety or fear, they were smiling eyes.  She shared that she feels the Lord is calling her to begin a new rosary group at the Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Sharon Massachusetts USA.  These are fruits of prayer.  The prayers of so many of you.  Cathy will need many more of our prayers as she enters a new Parish.  Thursday in the gospel we were told that there will be winds that will beat against our homes but those built on rock will continue to stand.  As we renew family prayer and pray that we will be the extended hands of Jesus and Mary we may face obstacles but we will be upheld with the strength of the Lord and have nothing to fear.   If any of you know people in the Boston Area please share with them this good news that a children's rosary is moving into the area and have them contact either myself (blythe.kaufman@gmail.com) or Cathy(cathyzeng8@gmail.com).  Cathy will be at our next children's rosary at St. Thomas on July 8th but this will be her last at least in the foreseeable future.  If you can join us on July 8th to say goodbye it would be wonderful. The departure of Cathy will leave a large gap in our group.  I am not frightened but trust in the Lord that he will help bring more children, families and individuals to our monthly rosary.  Thursday as I walked home from Mass I was overcome with joy at the thought of so many who have already come forward to help with whatever they felt they could do. I ask only that when an inspiration comes listen to it whatever that may be because the Lord is extremely active and is trying to work through all of us even those of you in other countries.  

Momentum is building but we are facing a strong headwind and must redouble our prayers as we push forward.  I will include our children's rosary petition at the end of the email.  Please consider adding it to prayers, rosaries or your intentions at Mass.  We have prayed to close to 300 Saints in individual 9 day novenas.  The complete list can be found on this blog Saints invited to join the children's rosary .  If you would like to pray to a new saint let me know and I will added the name to our list. Novenas are also helpful to saints already on the list. All novenas said for both new saints and those already on our list will allow us to randomly assigned those Saints to more Bibles.  These Bibles are available to anyone who wants one.   If you are interested in saying a novena we usually ask that you repeat our children's rosary petition for 9 days with an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be daily.   For each individual novena said, a Saint is placed on the inside of a Bible for a new family.  In September we will be giving out close to 200 Bibles to children at Saint Thomas the Apostle School in West Hartford Ct USA and we would like to have a Saint for each Bible.  The children will all be asked to say a novena in class to a new Saint and those saints will be placed on Bibles for the children in the next school. Contemplating so many children praying is a moving thought.  We already have permission from, the principal, now we only need to pray to enough Saints so each child will have a Saint to help them renew family prayer in their home.

Last week I shared with you exciting news that Cardinal Dolan was personally forwarding our letter for the Pope to Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, our apostolic nuncio, requesting that he forward our letter to the Holy See.  I had never heard of Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano before receiving the letter from Cardinal Dolan.  Only days later a member of the children's rosary, wrote to me sharing this quote that had been forwarded to her.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States on April 23, 2012, spoke at Columbus, Ohio and revealed the important mission which His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, hopes the Catholics of the United States of America will accomplish:

"The church in the United States should lead the entire church in the world" in a revitalization effort, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano said. "This is a great task, but you have the determination and the grace to do it. This I know is the vision of the Holy Father regarding the church in the United States." 

It was then that I realized why the Lord had been calling so strongly for a letter to be written to the Holy Father.  The Holy Father had sent a message to the United States that we should lead the world in a revitalization effort.  The message had not reached many of our ears here in the US but the Lord was spreading the message in our hearts.  He was beginning the revitalization and asking through so many clear ways that we should let Our Holy Father know that indeed revitalization is occurring as he predicted.  Knowledge of the Holy Father's vision comes after our Letter is already on its way to him.  It is traveling on the identical course his message was sent to us: through Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.  Who could have orchestrated such an elegant coincidence.   

May this message bring hope and excitement to your heart.  The Lord is at work and you are His hands.

To become a member of the children's rosary one only has to tell the Lord in their heart of their desire to be a part of our group.  You will then be included in all the novenas being said and all of the rosaries being prayed daily.
